Fall Tackle Football Program Information

Welcome to Rancho Cordova Junior Lancers football. We aspire to teach our youth to play the sport of football, and to train them up for the challenges they'll face as Cordova Lancers and beyond.

Team Formats

Players must meet these age level requirements by the beginning of the season. Team formats are:

• 14U - 14 years old and under
• 12U - 12 years old and under
• 10U - 10 years old and under
• 8U- 8 years old and under
• 6U - 6 years old and under

Ages and Grades

All players not certifying by the third game of the season will be dismissed from the team.

Minimum age to play is 5 years old by July 31st and the maximum age is 14 years old by July 31st of the current season.

For players that are between 5 and 7 as of July 31st please contact the registrar for a discount on enrollment. registrar@rcjrlancers.org 

We strive to get our players ready for football at the High School level. Starting in 2024 we tested a Lancer Scholar Program. During the season we will ask our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade players to provide grade updates. Those students with a 2.75 GPA or better will get special recognition at our end of season party.

Uniforms and Equipment

We are so excited for the upcoming fall season of Junior Lancers football!

This season, all football athletes will be receiving a custom made, lightweight, dye sublimated jersey with the team name, logo, player name, and player number printed on it. Jerseys are made from the perfect combination of polyester and spandex to provide a light and breathable fit with enough stretch for movement and tackling. Athletes will also be receiving a pair of quality football socks for game time.
