Mascot Football
Ready for some football? Do you have a kiddo that will be 5 or 6 before June 15th, 2026? Let's teach them the fundamentals and get them learning. Register with the Rancho Cordova Jr Lancers Fall Football Program! The official season begins in July and ends in October for Mascot Football.
What is Mascot Football?? Mascot football is a program set up to teach our youngest athletes the fundamentals of the sport, integrate them into a team setting, and prepare them for future seasons of tackle football. This squad is being set up on a trial run for the 2026 season. Mascot players will get gear to utilize during practices, a jersey, end of season events, and practice time with the team. They will not be playing live games on Saturdays due to safety concerns. This is a practice and learning team only.

Registration Information
Registration will consist of 4 steps:
- Parent/Guardian Registration
- Player Registration
- Supplemental Questions
- Instructions For Payment (registration total includes a refundable $100 volunteer deposit and $100 gear deposit)
Season Information
Junior Lancers Free Community training camps are starting in April at Mills Middle School.
Practice will be at Mills Middle School, schedule to be determined.
Player Information
Players must be registered and have enrollment paid to be given equipment.
Volunteer Information
Volunteers that require registration are:
- Assistant Coach
- Coach
- Team Parent
- Board Member
Volunteers will get apparel, as well as a badge that shows their title. Volunteers must register and submit to a background check. All positions must be interviewed prior to enrollment. If you are interested in interviewing for a position please email president@rcjrlancers.org
